Training Program/IMT

As the founder of the IMT Initiative, Dr. Xue-Jun Kong has a mission to provide better patient care via collaborations among multi-disciplinary specialties. Through an ongoing and evolving process, IMT is a well-established hub for physicians, researchers, and scholars to exchange and brainstorm ideas, It serves as a collaborative platform to improve care quality for patients. IMT is honored to have world-leading physician-scientists and engineers as its principal advisors Dr. Bruce Rosen.

The International Medicine Transformation (IMT) physician referral networks developed a vision of leadership and innovation. With the physician base growing broad spectrum domestically and internationally, IMT is dedicated to education, research, and clinical collaboration. It aims to facilitate mutual learning, exchange of ideas, and research collaboration via advanced technology and innovation. IMT aims to bridge providers and patients to world-renowned hospital(s), and physicians, ultimately improving healthcare globally.

IMT regularly organizes Medical Advancement Program for Chinese Physicians and Research Enhancement Program for medical students in Boston, Massachusetts. The main purpose of the training programs are to provide physician leaders in different medical fields an advancement education program with a focus on quality, leadership and innovation; and to provide medical students basic and clinical research training. Mentors are leading clinicians and faculties selected from Harvard Medical School and affiliated hospitals. Physician students will gain exceptional experience in the US healthcare system and generate new ideas for clinical work and research. IMT believes that with shared passion and spirit, this platform will make a difference in bridging US-China medical exchange, facilitating mutual learning and promoting global health.

The Synapse lab along with the Martinos Center has been putting on new speciality online programs in addition to the Research Enhancement Programs including but not excluded to: Oncology, Pathology, Hospital Management, and Pharmacy.
